July Business School-GoYin for the Gold!
One, two, three, GOOOO!!! The clock starts and cheering erupts as the quad team makes their final push, exerting all their strength, and the sled is on the track. It winds down past the spectators, and the rider's determination to cross the finish line overshadows all battle wounds received by ricocheting against the bobsled.
In reality, it was an unusual spectacle- a distinguished group, dressed mainly in GoYin blue- participating in the "frigid" sport of bobsledding in the middle of July. Utah may have many cold months but July is not one of them. However, in keeping with the Olympic Spirit, Utahns have devised a way to help all unsuspecting participants find their way down the winding course or find themselves launching a friend right on down the hill.
This was the adventure for GoYin's top leaders during our July Regional Director Retreat, coinciding with July's Business School in Park City, Utah. It was a time for them to come together, work as a team, and discover their own capabilities and courage. Then the bonding and friendship building continued as they ended their exhausting day as Olympic athletes and found relief at the Happa Grill where they were treated to a delectable meal- Japanese style.
Friday began with a leadership breakfast meeting where the leaders shared ideas and discussed their various building techniques. After a free day of enjoying everything that Park City has to offer, the Business School commenced with an intense MultiFlex Rewards Plan training by Ryan Daley and a Tasting Party hosted by Regional Director Chris O. Chris did a fabulous job by giving an example of a successful meeting while at the same time sharing techniques and sales insights that have helped him climb swiftly to the top.
The next morning began with top notch training by the founders and leaders. The medal rewards were introduced as part of the enrollment recognition program and awards were presented to attendees. To top it all off, a contest was announced: the state with the most attendees to Business School won a business meeting with a Founder and our Scientific Advisor Dr. Shawn Talbott. It was a close race and we ended with a tie! Congratulations to Alabama and Texas for having such a strong presence at our Business School! We're excited for the upcoming meetings in your hometowns.
We'll see you all October 24-25 for our Fall Event. As Chris O said about events and business schools, "Those who go, grow."
